Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead and supervise the overall operations of the newsroom, ensuring timely and accurate news production.
2. Oversee content planning, editing, and publishing across Television and Digital platforms.
3. Guide and manage newsroom editors to maintain editorial standards.
4. Ensure all news content is fact-checked, unbiased, and aligned with organizational policies.
5. Monitor global and national events to set newsroom priorities and coverage strategies.
6. Produce and approve analytical and high-impact news content, especially on international affairs and geopolitics.
7. Coordinate closely with production, digital, video editors and technical teams for smooth workflow.
8. Develop and implement newsroom workflows, duty rosters, and performance monitoring systems.
Educational Qualification:
Minimum Post-graduation in any discipline from any reputed UGC-approved University.
Additional Qualification:
1. Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management skills.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
3. Sound knowledge of newsroom software, digital tools, and content management systems.
4. Clear understanding of media ethics, copyright policies, and compliance standards
Experience: Minimum 4-8 years of experience in related field.
